Pune: Around 16.24 Lakh COVID-19 Patients Recovered in Pune Division

Pune, June 29, 2021: Around 16,24,589 coronavirus (COVID-19) patients in the Pune division have recovered, and the total number of COVID-19 patients in the division has increased to 17,01,606. The number of active patients in the division is 41,552, while a total of 35,465 patients died of COVID-19, that is, 2.08 per cent. The recovery rate in the Pune division is 95.47 per cent, informed Divisional Commissioner Saurabh Rao.
Pune District
Out of a total of 10,48,708 patients infected with COVID-19 in the Pune district, 10,21,374 patients have recovered. The number of active patients is 9,592, while a total of 17,742 patients have died in the district. The mortality rate in the district is 1.69 per cent and the recovery rate is 97.39 per cent.
Satara District
Out of the total 1,91,931 COVID-19 patients in the Satara district, 1,77,978 patients have recovered. The number of active patients is 9,342, while a total of 4,611 patients have died in the district.
Solapur District
Out of the total 1,62,811 COVID-19 patients in the Solapur district, 1,56,540 patients have recovered. The number of active patients is 1,882 and a total of 4,389 patients have died.
Sangli District
Out of the total 1,43,824 patients infected with COVID-19 in the Sangli district, 1,31,24 patients have recovered. The number of active patients in the district is 8,760. A total of 4,040 patients have died.
Kolhapur District
Out of the total 1,54332 COVID-19 patients in the Kolhapur district, 1,37,673 patients have recovered. The number of active patients is 11,976. A total of 4,683 patients have died in the district
Increase in number of patients as compared to Monday
Compared to yesterday (Monday), the number of COVID-19 patients in the Pune division has increased by 3,894. The number of patients has increased to 728 in Pune district, 496 in Satara district, 221 in Solapur district, 1,073 in Sangli district and 1,376 in Kolhapur district.
Number of patients recovered on Monday
Around 3,249 COVID-19 patients have recovered in the Pune division. Around 755 patients recovered in Pune district, 242 in Satara district, 252 in Solapur district, 852 in Sangli district and 1,148 in Kolhapur district.
Pune division survey
To date, a total of 1,04,97,913 samples were tested for COVID-19 in the Pune division. Of the total COVID-19 tests done, 17,01,606 people tested positive for COVID-19.
