Pune, 21st April 2026: Over 50 former students of Seth Dagduram Katariya High School, Pune, from batches between 1986 and 2007, are set to come together for a special art exhibition titled “Reflections”, to be held from April 23 to 25 at Balgandharva Art Gallery, Pune.

United by their shared passion for sketching, painting and other art forms, these alumni have remained connected over the years and are now showcasing their work under the banner of the ‘Katariyans Art Group’.

The exhibition will be inaugurated on Thursday, April 23, 2026, at 11 am in the presence of chief guests Naval Kishore Ram (IAS), Commissioner, Pune Municipal Corporation; Prof. Dr. Nachiket Thakur, Pro Vice Chancellor, Creative Cluster, MIT Art, Design and Technology University, Pune, and Dean, MIT Institute of Design; and noted Marathi actress Rujuta Deshmukh.

The exhibition will remain open to the public from April 23 to 25, 2026, at the same venue, between 10:00 am and 7:30 pm daily.

A key highlight of the initiative is that all participating alumni nurtured their interest in art under the guidance of their school art teacher, Shailaja Pathak. While some pursued careers in the arts, others moved into diverse professional fields, but their connection with art has remained strong.

The exhibition will feature a range of artworks, including sketches, watercolour paintings and other visual art forms, offering a glimpse into the artists’ memories, experiences and creativity.

Art lovers in Pune are invited to visit the exhibition and encourage the artists, the organisers said.
