Pune: Ashoka XI, Legends United bag full points
Pune, 31st May 2022: Ashoka XI and Legends United earned full points with easy wins over their opponents in the Second and Third Division PDFA League 2021-22, here on Tuesday.
At SSPMS ground, Ashoka XI blanked Black Hawks 4-0 in Pool-D. Ashoka XI began with a bonus when Jaiprakash handed them a self goal. Later, Abhishek Singh (20th) Stephen Nair (30th) and Ravikiran M.M (46th) completed the scoreline.
In the Third Division, Legends United downed Invaders 2-0 after Aryan Tambe (18th, 58th) netted a brace to earn his team full points from the Pool-C encounter.
In Pool-B, Vincent’s Old Boys Association (VOBA) scored an identical 2-0 win over Mominpura F.C. Brenden Crasto (18th) and Pratamesh Dedge (42nd) scored for VOBA.
