Pune: Balewadi Residents To Celebrate Pedestrians’ Day On Sunday
Balewadi, 9th December 2022: The residents of the Balewadi area have many issues such as a road with height barrier, public transport service, lack of streetlights, road, missing sign boards, footpaths that are full of encroachments, improper and insufficient roads.
In this regard, the residents have already made their demands to the Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC). To ensure that pedestrians are given their due importance, Balewadi Residency Co-op Housing Welfare Federation Ltd will celebrate Pedestrian Day at Dussehra Chowk on Sunday (December 11) by putting up posters while creating awareness.
Ameya Jagtap, member of Balewadi Residency Co-Op Housing Welfare Federation Ltd informed that the residents have some demands such as suitable roads for vehicles, potholes should be filled and barriers should be repaired. It is also demanded that transport service should be provided on the entire road along with the installation of streetlights, the road and area should be clean and odor free.
