Pune: Baner Police Recover Stolen Goods Worth Rs 7.5 Lakh, Return Items to Owners

Baner, 14th June 2025: Baner Police, under Pune Police jurisdiction, have returned multiple lost or stolen laptops and mobile phones to their rightful owners. A total of 27 mobile phones and 1 laptop, collectively worth Rs 7.5 lakh, were recovered and handed over.

Deputy Commissioner of Police (Zone 4) Himmat Jadhav and Assistant Commissioner of Police (Khadki Division) Vitthal Dabade personally returned the items to their owners.

In one notable case, a 45-year-old resident of Balewadi was robbed at knifepoint by three unidentified individuals who stole his Samsung phone worth ₹72,000. Baner Police arrested all three accused and recovered the phone.

This operation was conducted under the guidance of senior officers and led by Senior Police Inspector Chandrashekhar Sawant.
