Over 60,000 Students Secure Admission in Maharashtra 11th Centralized Online Zero Round

Mumbai, 14th June 2025: In the ongoing centralized online admission process for Class 11 in Maharashtra, a total of 60,487 students have secured seats under various reserved quotas during the recently concluded zero round. The process, conducted for the first time this year via a statewide centralized online system, has drawn significant attention from students and parents as they now await the results of the first CAP (Centralized Admission Process) round.

According to Dr. Mahesh Palekar, Director of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education, the zero round for reserved category admissions began on 12th June and concluded on 14th June, as per the revised schedule. Out of 1,13,048 students who applied across Maharashtra for reserved quotas, 60,487 finalized their admissions during this phase. Daily admissions included 9,087 on Thursday, 24,629 on Friday, and 26,771 on Saturday.

Breakdown by quota shows 26,521 admissions from 52,468 in-house applicants, 7,756 admissions from 36,991 management quota applicants, and 26,210 admissions from 36,991 minority quota applicants. Students admitted through these quotas will not be included in subsequent admission rounds.

The next phase will see the release of the merit list and college allotment on 17th June7, with divisional committees overseeing the selection process. The college-wise allotment list is scheduled to be published on 26th June, as the centralized online admission process continues to streamline Class 11 admissions across Maharashtra.
