Pune based Pranati Shroff Munot invited as speaker at Swedish Institute Inspiration Day in Stockholm

Pune May 25 : The Swedish Institute (SI) held their annual Inspiration day in Stockholm on May 21-22, 2022 which saw 60 future Alumni gather from 35 countries. Pune based Pranati Shroff Munot (Swedish Alumni Network Chairperson) was invited to chair and host a workshop on how alumni can contribute by being active in local networks.

 

On last Saturday, Pranati Shroff Munot was also invited to inspire and address a 500 plus gathering at the graduation ceremony of this year’s program at the Stockholm City Hall, the esteemed Hall of Fame where distinguished Nobel Laureates are recognized. Pranati spoke on leadership, collaboration and equality in line with Swedish values and vision, emphasizing how every individual can work together towards sustainability of our only planet.

 

The commendable initiatives of the Maharashtra and Goa chapter in recent years were showcased namely – management of plastic waste through activities of plogging, plogathons, waste segregation & collection drives, competitions, upcycling and recycling of plastic waste. Other activities include clothes swap events, eat-move-live smart challenges to further impact awareness and responsibility creation in society.

 

Since 2009, Pranati Shroff Munot has been relentlessly working at educating people about the green building movement. She is actively associated with CREDAI, Indian Green Building Council (IGBC), The Energy & Resources Institute (TERI) to promote the Green Building Movement in India. A founder member of Sustainability Initiatives, an NGO conducting events and research in the field, Pranati heads SPROUT, a consultancy firm aiding the green buildings and development industry, being extremely passionate about the environment and striving to build a society which not only thinks Green but also lives Green!
