Pune: Bavdhan Hotel’s Hookah Parlour Busted, Owner and Manager Booked By Hinjawadi Police
Bavdhan, 20th February 2024: Hinjawadi police have taken measures against a hookah parlour that was in operation within a hotel located on Bhugaon Road, Bavdhan. The owner and manager of the hotel have been registered in a case. This enforcement occurred on Monday, the 19th.
The case has been registered against Manager Praveen Amritlal Gautam (19 years old, resident of Bhugaon, Mulshi) and owner Sameer Sridhar Shetty (41 years old, resident of Warje). Police constable Ravi Pawar filed a complaint at the Hinjawadi police station.
As per police reports, information reached Hinjawadi police about the operation of a hookah parlour at Tipsy Turtle Poolside Lounge Cafe in Bavdhan. The accused facilitated the consumption of prohibited tobacco hookah for patrons. Subsequently, Hinjawadi police conducted a raid, confiscating valuables worth 34,000. A case has been filed against the hotel’s owner and manager, and the Hinjawadi Police is currently investigating the matter further.
