Aundh, 9th January 2026: With the Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) elections scheduled in 2026, the campaign of Bhakti Ajit Gaikwad, a candidate from Ward No. 8 (Aundh–Bopodi), has gathered pace, drawing an encouraging response from local residents. As part of her outreach, Gaikwad recently undertook a door-to-door campaign across several localities in Aundh-Bopodi, interacting directly with citizens to understand their civic concerns.

During the interactions, residents highlighted key issues affecting daily life, including irregular water supply, deteriorating road conditions, traffic congestion, sanitation, upkeep of public parks, and the need for better facilities for women and senior citizens. Gaikwad assured citizens that these concerns would be addressed on priority if elected.

“My focus will be on transparent governance, timely completion of civic works, and active citizen participation in the overall development of the Aundh-Bopodi area,” Gaikwad said while responding to residents’ feedback.

According to her supporters, the campaign has received strong backing from youth, women and senior citizens, adding momentum to her electoral efforts. Several local activists, office bearers and party supporters were present during the campaign tour.
