Pune: Bhide Bridge Closed For Traffic, Work On Metro Station And Pedestrian Flyover Will Begin Soon
Pune, 12th September 2022: The Pune city’s central Deccan Gymkhana metro station and the pedestrian flyover are set to open. Accordingly, traffic from Pune Mahanagar Parivahan Mahamandal Limited (PMPML) Deccan bus stand to Bhide bridge has been closed from September 13 to November 14.
Therefore, Deputy Commissioner of Police Rahul Srirame has appealed that drivers should use alternative routes.
Alternative routes are as follows:
Traffic from the Deccan PMPML bus stand area to the Bhide bridge has been stopped. Drivers should proceed from Deccan PMPML Bus Stop Garware Bridge via Khandojibaba Chowk following Alka Talkies Chowk and then Kelkar Road to their destination.
Drivers going to Bhide Bridge from Jangli Maharaj Road should proceed to their destination via Kakasaheb Gadgil Bridge (via Z Bridge).
Drivers should use Jangli Maharaj road from opposite Hotel Sukanta after turning right at Bhide Bridge.
