Pune: Bhosari Police Take Action Against Birthday Boy For Arranging Unauthorized Dance Show Of Gautami Patil
Pimpri-Chinchwad, 24th May 2023: The Bhosari police have registered a case against the organizer of a program featuring renowned dancer Gautami Patil on the occasion of his birthday. The event took place in Pimpri-Chinchwad and has once again brought Gautami Patil into the spotlight.
The case has been filed against Amit Shankar Lande, a youth activist from Kasarwadi, who celebrated his birthday on Monday and organized a public dance program featuring Gautami Patil. During the event, Gautami Patil captivated the audience with her splendid performances, but now, following the conclusion of the program, legal action has been taken against the organizer and the birthday boy.
The complaint was filed by Dattatreya Balasaheb Kamble, a police employee.
Lande had approached the police seeking permission for Gautami Patil’s program. However, due to concerns regarding potential law and order issues, the Bhosari police station denied permission for the event. Despite the refusal, Lande went ahead with Gautami Patil’s public program on Monday, leading to the registration of a case against him.
