Pune: Bike Thieves Arrested By Warje Police, 5 Bikes Seized
Pune, 11th September 2022: It has been revealed that thieves have stolen bikes from Warje, Erandwane, Sinhagad road, Hadapsar, Wakad, Chaturshringi, Hinjewadi, Pimpri areas. Warje police nabbed the thieves who were stealing bikes from different parts of the city.
18 cases of theft of two-wheelers by thieves have been revealed and five two-wheelers have been seized. Sagar Ashok Chavan (27), Sandeep Sampat Andhale (21), both residents of Katraj, Akash Vasant Lokhande (22) of Ramnagar in Warje Malwadi, are the names of those arrested.
A bike was stolen from Karvenagar area a few days ago. This crime was being investigated by the police. Accused Sagar and Akash had kept the stolen bike in a garage. The police got information about this. After that, the police team laid a trap and caught Chavan. In the investigation, the name of accomplice Akash Lokhande was revealed. Five bikes were seized from the thieves, police said.
