Pune: BJMC Students Demand Justice For Medical Student Ashok Pal Who Was Murdered In Yavatmal
Camp, 13th November 2021: A candlelight march was taken out today at BJ Government Medical College and Sassoon General Hospital in protest against the brutal murder of Ashok Pal, a final year MBBS student of Shri Vasantrao Naik Government Medical College, Yavatmal.
Pal was was found in a badly injured state near his college’s hostel around 8.50 pm on November 10. The 24-year-old was rushed to the the hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
Today, students of BJMC Pune took out a candlelight march and demanded justice for Pal.
The students have made following demands:
-Ashok Pal’s accused should be punished as soon as possible.
– Financial assistance should be given to his family by the government
– Security system, CCTV cameras should be installed in Shri Vasantrao Naik Government Medical College, Yavatmal as well as in all medical colleges in Maharashtra.
