Pune, 19th September 2022: Union Minister of Finance Nirmala Sitharaman will be starting preparations for the 2024 Lok Sabha elections in Baramati Loksabha constituency with a three-day visit to Baramati from 22nd to 23rd September 2022. The preparations come 18 months early with the assured hope of a win as Harshwardhan Patil leaning towards the BJP.

Baramati Constituency has been the stronghold of NCP for the past 55 years with Sharad Pawar as its alternative. His daughter Supriya Sule is now representing the Baramati Lok Sabha constituency.

BJP MLA Ram Shinde held a press conference to speak on the plans for Sitharaman’s tour to Baramati. Shinde said, “22 programs will be held during three days across Khadakwasla, Bhor, Velha, Mulshi, Purandar, Baramati, Indapur, and Daund starting on 22nd September. It will end on 23rd September with a press conference in Pune. We started the preparations early this time after defeats in 2015 and 2019. The condition of Baramati is not yet developed and we will work to make it better.”
