Pune: BJP MLA Mukta Tilak and her mother test positive for COVID-19

Pune, July 7, 2020: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MLA Mukta Tilak of Kasba Peth constituency has tested positive for Coronavirus Disease.
The former mayor of Pune shared the same with the public on her Twitter handle today. She also informed that her mother has also tested positive for COVID-19, and is home quarantined as advised by the doctors.
The Kasba Peth MLA wrote, “Today my mother and I have been tested positive for COVID-19. We both are not showing any symptoms & have been advised by doctors to be under home quarantine & have thus self-isolated ourselves. All other family members have been tested negative. Stay Home, Stay Safe”.
As soon as the Tweet was published, Twitter users wished her for a speedy recovery. Chitra Kishor Wagh, Vice president of BJP Maharashtra, replied, “Take care, Tai, get well soon, this is my only prayer”.
Tilak’s father Vasant Limaye also lost his life to Coronavirus a few days ago.
