Pune, 3rd February 2023: Jagdish Mulik, the president of the Bharatiya Janata Party in Pune, met with Vikram Kumar, the commissioner of the Pune Municipal Corporation, and demanded that the construction of the flyovers that had been approved at Kharadi and Vishrantwadi in the Vadgaonsheri constituency should begin as soon as possible by allocating funds.

According to information provided by Jagdish Mulik, a 200-kilometre road safety audit was carried out in 2018 as part of a campaign by the federal government to promote road safety. The most hazardous road for traffic is the Pune-Nagar Road, it was discovered. Yogesh Mulik, the standing committee’s former chairman, created the city road integrated transport plan, which included recommendations for the construction of grade separators or flyovers where necessary at Golf Chowk, Kharadi, Kalyan Nagar, Yerwada, and Vishrantwadi.

One of the suggested flyovers at Golf Chowk was just finished. The flyover at Kharadi will be funded by the state government. Devendra Fadnavis, the deputy chief minister, has made a statement in this regard. The commissioner assured that the state and the local corporation would shortly begin the work.
