Pune: BJP Meets Allies For Kasba Seat By-Elections
Pune, 3rd February 2023: For the by-election of Kasba assembly constituency, which fell vacant due to the death of MLA Mukta Tilak, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has allied with all the elements in the grand alliance of Balasaheb’s Shiv Sena, RPI (Athawale Group), Shiv Sangram, RSP, and Rayat Kranti Paksha. It was decided today to fight this election with all the parties.

Mandar Joshi, Balasaheb Janrao, Bharat Lagad of Shivsangram, Kalinditai Godambe, Swapnil Naik of Patit Pavan Sanghatana, Rajabhau Patil, Dinesh Bhilare, Manoj Nair, Shrikant Shilimkar, BJP leader Shailesh Tilak, former Standing Committee President Hemant Rasane, Ganesh Bidkar, Dheeraj Ghate, State Spokesperson Sandeep Khardekar, former Deputy Mayor Sunita Wadekar, BJP Kasba Mandal President Pramod Kondhare, Mahila Morcha President Ashwini Pandey and other dignitaries were present.
After the meeting, Guardian Minister Chandrakant Patil interacted with the reporters. He said that Kasba Assembly Constituency is the traditional constituency of the Bharatiya Janata Party. The by-election to the Kasba Legislative Assembly vacated by the death of Mukta Tilak should be unopposed; Everyone has a role to play in this. However, without remaining oblivious, BJP, Balasaheb’s Shiv Sena, Shiv Sangram, RSP, Rayat Kranti and allied constituent parties are all going to contest this election with full strength.
MLA Chandrakant Patil said that the party’s National Selection Committee will announce the names of the candidates for the by-elections. Therefore, the activists of all the parties of the grand alliance (MahaYuti) have started working on this. On Monday, February 6, candidates of the alliance will file their nomination papers for both constituencies.
When asked about unopposed elections, MLA Patil said that Kasba and Chinchwad assembly by-elections are expected to be uncontested. For that, the party leader. Madhuri Misal has contacted the major leaders of all opposition parties. A letter has also been sent to uncontest both seats. We are all waiting for the reply to those letters. Patil also explained that the state-level leaders are also in touch with all the major leaders.
Khardekar has the responsibility of the post of coordinator.
