Pune: BJP Student Aghadi Office-Bearer Murdered near Lonavala
Lonavala, 1st November 2024: The murder of a Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Student Aghadi office-bearer in the Pavananagar area of Maval taluka, Pune district, has come to light.
The victim has been identified as Nilesh Dattatray Kadu, a 30-year-old resident of Sawantwadi in Mahagaon, Maval taluka, Pune district. He was reportedly killed in the Prabhachiwadi area, where he was found crushed to death with a stone on Friday morning.
Upon receiving information about the incident, Sub Divisional Officer Rajendra Mayne and Police Inspector Kishore Dhumal from Lonavala Rural Police rushed to the scene to conduct an investigation. The motive behind Kadu’s murder remains unclear at this time.
Kadu was actively involved in the BJP Student Aghadi, and authorities have not yet determined a reason for the attack. Inspector Dhumal confirmed that the body has been sent for a post-mortem examination, and several suspects have been detained for questioning. Assistant Police Inspector Prashant Aware is leading the investigation into this incident.
