Pune: Blood Donation and Free Health Check-Up Camp Receives Positive Response
Pune, 12th December 2024: A blood donation and free health check-up camp, jointly organized by Late Smt. Laxmibai Dagdusheth Halwai Datta Mandir Trust, Lions Club of Pune Twenty-First Century, Lions Club of Pune Kothrud, Lions Club of Pune Shaniwar Wada, Lions Club of Pune Mukundnagar, and Shaheed Captain Sushant Godbole Foundation, garnered a positive response.
The camp offered eye, dental, and general health check-ups, benefiting approximately 75 individuals, while 25 people contributed by donating blood. It was held on December 10, 2024, from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM, in front of Late Smt. Laxmibai Dagdusheth Halwai Datta Mandir, Budhwar Peth, Pune.
The event saw the participation of several dignitaries, including Suvarna (Geeta) Godbole, Sujay Godbole, Prashant and Neelima Shitoot, Satish Rajhans, Advocate Rajani Ukarde, Shama Goyal, Abhay and Preetam Gandhi, Prasanna and Sharda Bhandarkar, Nitin Naik, former district governor CA Abhay Shastri, Vitthal Kute, Mukund and Jayshree Khaire, Dr. Satish Desai, Suresh Sheth, Kiran Jadhav, Shyam Khandelwal, and Bhanudas Paigude.
The event’s success was attributed to the special efforts and support of Advocate Rajani Ukarde and Parnal Dekhne.
