Pune Book Fair opens from 28th Sept.

Pune, September 3, 2019 : The 18th edition of “Pune Book Fair” is scheduled this year from Saturday 28th Sept. to Wednesday 2nd Oct. 2019 at Ganesh Kala Krida Manch, near Nehru Stadium, Swar Gate Pune. This Largest Book Fair in Western India is co-sponsored among others by Maharashtra sahitya parishad, Pune.

Pune Book Fair will have display stalls put up by renowned / leading publishers, Booksellers and service providers from all over India. Acclaimed books on Education, Science, Technology, Health, Management, Business, Law, Religion, Politics and literature will be displayed in various sections of the exhibition. Apart from Books in English, Books in various Indian languages like Hindi, Marathi, Guajarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Tamil, Urdu, Sanskrit etc. will be available at these stands. Pune Marathi Granthalya will display the old and rare books which will show historical glory, social atmosphere, presumption and gallantry which will reach to the new generation

The Book Fair will be useful for Library Managers, Academicians, Book sellers, writers, students, educational heads, teachers and readers.

The exhibition will have special section for the Blind. Books on Braille and educational aids for Blind will be on display. In order to encourage small publishers and Booksellers, an Exhibition. Enterprise section is being set up at the show. Leading Newspapers in the region will not only cover the Book Fair, but will also put up display stall and highlight their collections. Towards a Knowledge Society Lecture series is organized in order to educate all concerned especially the youth. The programmes are conducted on all days of Pune Book Fair.

Maharashtra Sahitya parishad has organized three day programme from 29th Sept. to 1st Oct.2019 in the evening to promote Marathi literacy and reading habit among youth.

Kharidobecho on line book sellers will coordinate an “Authors corner “wherein renowned Hindi and English writers meet from all over India. This includes Ajaykumar Pande, Anand Nilkanthan, Dr.Radha krisha Pille, Kevi Misal, Kapil Raj and so on. Storytelling, poets meet and Review writers Award programme will be held during Pune Book fair.
