Pune, 13th November 2021: Pune boy Aditya Samant emerged sole leader at the end of the eighth round at the Buddhibal Kreeda Trust organised All India Open Fide Rating Chess Tournament being played at Ashwamedh Hall, Karve Road

The 15 year old Pune based player Samant a 10th standard student of Abhinav English Medium School ,playing with white pieces opened with Kings Pawn to score a win in 34 moves against overnight board leader Anadkat Kartavya from Gujarat. International Master and top seeded Vikramaditya Kulkarni and FM Sauravh Khherdekar are joint second with 7 points apiece
