Pune Braces for PM Modi’s ‘Mahavijaya Sankalp Sabha’: Massive Road Show, Stringent Police Deployment Expected

Pune, 27th April 2024: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to visit Pune on 29th April to campaign for Mahayuti Candidates in Baramati, Shirur, Maval, and Pune Lok Sabha Constituencies. As part of this campaign, a roadshow has been organized. The Mahayuti alliance is unified in preparations for PM Modi’s roadshow, with leaders from all parties in Mahayuti expected to attend. The roadshow aims to create a favourable atmosphere for candidates contesting in the Pune District Lok Sabha constituencies.

Candidates including Sunetra Ajit Pawar from Baramati, Shivajirao Adhalrao Patil from Shirur, Shrirang Barne from Maval, and Murlidhar Mohol from Pune will be participating in the Lok Sabha elections representing Mahayuti. PM Modi is scheduled to hold a meeting at 7 PM on April 29th at Race Course. Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, Deputy CMs Devendra Fadnavis and Ajit Pawar, along with other major leaders of Mahayuti, will also be present.

The meeting, named ‘Mahavijay Sankalp Sabha’ by BJP, is expected to draw over 2 lakh attendees. Extensive preparations are underway for this event, with police assuming control of the Race Course ground. Approximately 3,000 VIPs will attend, and arrangements have been made to group them with police protection.

Strict security measures are in place, with attendees prohibited from bringing any items from outside, including water bottles, as provisions will be made available inside. Entry will be prohibited 15 minutes before PM Modi’s convoy arrives at the Race Course ground.
