Pune: Brake Failure Causes PMPML Bus to Crash into Multiple Vehicles at Chandni Chowk

Kothrud, 29th April 2025: A PMPML bus suffered a brake failure at Chandni Chowk on Tuesday evening, leading to a collision involving two auto-rickshaws, one four-wheeler, and three two-wheelers. The incident left three individuals injured, though all are reported to be in stable condition.
The bus, bearing registration number MH 12 KQ 0683, was en route when the driver allegedly lost control due to brake malfunction, resulting in the multi-vehicle collision in the busy traffic zone.
Deputy Commissioner of Police (Zone 3) Sambhaji Kadam confirmed that the bus driver has been taken into custody, and traffic at the site has since been cleared.
