Pune, November 28, 2020: Famous Pune-based builder Avinash Bhosale was interrogated by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) for more than eight hours on Friday. The incident came to light when reporters saw  Bhosale’s Bentley parked at the Ballard Pier in Mumbai since Friday morning.

Sources have said that their investigation is underway under the Foreign exchange Management Act (FEMA). While the incident of ED raiding the house and office of Shiv Sena MLA Pratap Sarnaik is also fresh, Bhosale’s inquiry by the ED is also provoking various reactions in political circles.

This incident has also sparked a debate over whether an inquiry was underway into the leaders of the Maha Vikas Aghadi government or their families.

Bhosale has been present at the ED office since 10 am on Friday.  He left at about 8.30 pm.

Bhosale has a large construction business in Pune and Mumbai. His company also works in the infrastructure sector across the country.  There are signs that the details of his dealings with the ED will be revealed later.  His company is headquartered in Pune.  There was talk of an ED raid.  However, it could not be confirmed.

Avinash Bhosale, who used to drive a rickshaw in Pune, has become a big builder and his ‘success stories’ are going viral on social media.
