Pune: Builder Cheats Approximately 264 Flat Owners In Wagholi With Hopes Of Providing More Facilities

Wagholi, 13th February 2023: Alleging that the flat owners were not provided with parking and adequate amenities, the flat owners of Gagan Adira Society in Wagholi protested outside the sales office of Gagan Developers on Saturday (11th February). Slogans were chanted at this time that the builder had cheated.
There are 264 flats in Gagan Adira Society. But as many as 110 flats still do not have parking space. It was said that around 40 facilities will be provided while booking the flat but only three-four facilities had been provided by the builder.
The lift is operational but has no license. CCTVs have been installed but are not operational. The side building has been cracked due to digging a pit there. There are many such complaints that the builder has cheated the flat holders.
Anil Halgude, a flat owner of Gagan Adira Halgude while talking to PunekarNews.in informed that the builder had already informed the flat owners that there will be a garden in society and the place near the garden will not be allowed for parking. “But he sold the land reserved for the said garden for nearly Rs three lakh. The builder has also stated that the remaining facilities will be provided in phase two but they face two of the constructions being halted for four years now,” Halgude added further.
The allegation was made by the flat holders. They had complained to RERA and PMRDA a few months ago, but no simple reply came from the departments. The flat holders protested for about two hours in the morning and raised slogans against the builder.
Meanwhile, MLA Ashok Pawar met the agitators and assured them that the PMRDA officials will be asked to inquire and take action.
When the builder, Naresh Garg, was contacted about this, gen stated that some works are still pending and they will be done shortly. At present, parking facilities have been provided by lifting a temporary shed. There was a dispute between the builder and the landowner of the place which is now resolved. He said while talking to the media that all the facilities will be provided to the flat holders.
