Pune: Builders Sachin Kulkarni And Nitin Kulkarni Of Vastushodh Booked For Cheating
Uttamnagar, 27th September 2021: An FIR has been registered against Vastushodh managing director Sachin Kulkarni and director Nitin Kulkarni for allegedly cheating a flat buyer by not giving possession of a flat.
Based on a complaint from Milind Chintamani Tajne (48), a resident of Sambhajinagar in Chinchwad, an FIR has been registered against the Kulkarni brothers at Uttamnagar police station under Pune city police.
According to police, Tajne had booked a flat in ‘Urbangram’ housing project of the company in Khandala taluka of Satara district. He had paid Rs 11.27 lakh and a sale-deed was executed in 2016. However, Tajne did not get possession of the flat. The builders gave him a cheque of Rs 7.81 lakh but the cheque bounced.
Police said that the builders were arrested earlier for duping flat buyers in other projects also.
