Pune Bus Accident: 10 Injured As PMPML Bus Plunges Into Ditch
Pune, 4th September 2023: A PMPML bus met with an accident on Monday when its steering wheel malfunctioned in the Sanghavi Phata area along the Rahu-Wagholi road. The bus veered off the road and ended up in a ditch, resulting in injuries to ten passengers, including college students.
Students and employees from Daund taluka regularly commute between Pune station and Pargaon via PMPML buses. However, on Monday morning, while traveling on Rahu-Wagholi road near Sanghavi Phata, the PMPML bus experienced a steering column failure.
Consequently, the bus driver lost control of the vehicle, causing it to veer off the road and into a ditch. Among the injured individuals, several are college students, according to information provided by the Yavat police.
