Pune: Businessman Cheated Of Rs 1.21 Crore With Lure Of Investment In Area Near Metro Station

Pune, 19th December 2022: A case has been registered against Ishwar Chandulal Parmar (70) and Sanat Ishwar Parmar (46) in the case of fraud of Rs 1.21 crore with the lure of investment in the area near the Pune Metro project in Kamgar Statue area of Shivajinagar.

Pankaj Gul Jagasia (43) has filed a complaint at Bund Garden police station.

The metro project is going to take place near the Kamgar statue in the Shivajinagar area. Amish Parmar had shown Jagsia that there will be an opportunity for a good investment in this space. He was lured that he would get good returns if he invested.

Parmar took money from Jagasia from time to time online as well as through cheques with the lure of investing in the respective area. This amount was then deposited in a private bank, Ishwar Construction Pvt Ltd.

Since October 2016, no construction has been done on this site. Parmar had no development rights on the land concerned. After realizing the fraud, Jagasia recently filed a complaint with the police.

Senior Police Inspector Pratap Mankar is investigating the case further.
