Pune, 19th December 2022: The timetable of the students studying at Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU) was announced recently. In the current schedule, the papers on Engineering, Law, and Pharmacy are being taken consecutively, and there is no gap between the papers.

It is reported that this change has been made due to the non-completion of other year’s courses. The Yuvak Kranti Dal has demanded a change in the schedule as it negatively affects the students.

Students studying in the college travel daily from across the city, including Saswad, Khed, Narayangaon, and Daund. Most of their time is spent travelling. As per the current schedule, as there is no break in the paper, the students will not get time to prepare for the exam. This will directly affect the quality of their examination. Considering this, the university should make appropriate changes to the schedule.

For this demand, Yuvak Kranti Dal members met the pro-vice-chancellor of the university, Sanjeev Sonawane. A letter was given presenting the problems of the students. On this, Prof. Sonawane assured them that necessary changes will be made by taking a meeting with the examination director.

Youth Kranti Dal Pune City President Sachin Pandule, Raunak Khabe, Student Representative Mahesh Ghadge, Krishna Nalavde, and Shantanu Bhute were present.
