Pune: Businessman Who Went To Help, Robbed By Duo Of Gold chain Worth Rs 50,000
Pune, 15th September 2022: On Tuesday, at around 1:30 am, a 26-year-old real estate businessman was robbed of his gold chain worth Rs 50,000 by two men after he pulled over after spotting them waving their hands for help and standing alongside a motorcycle.
According to the police, the incident happened when the victim, Deepak Patil of Wakad, was travelling to Chinchwad after dropping off a friend at Bhumkar Chowk.
According to a police officer from the Wakad police station, Patil used the service road to travel to Chinchwad.
The official said, “He made a left turn close to a subway. He decided to help the men and stopped near them because he assumed they needed help as their motorcycle may have had a technical issue. Because it was so late at night, they might not be able to get any help.”
Patil rolled down his car window and inquired as to whether they required any help.
