Pune Cantonment Board: 24 new COVID cases reported today, Check area wise report

Pune, August 13, 2020: With 24 new Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19) cases today, the total tally of positive patients reached 1142 in the Pune Cantonment Board (PCB) area. Out of 1142, a total of 976 people have been cured while 27 have died.

 

According to PCB, there are still 139 active patients undergoing treatment, and 20 of them are from ward no. 4 and 31 from ward no. 8, while others are from the remaining six wards. 82 cases have been reported from the Army Area out of which 31 have recovered and 51 patients are still admitted in the hospital .

According to Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC), the total number of Coronavirus positive patients till date has reached 70,326 out of which 53,958 have been cured while 1656 have died. There are still 14,712 active patients undergoing treatment in various hospitals. They include 737 critical patients out of which 448 are on ventilator support.

 

According to PCMC, the total number of Coronavirus positive patients has reached 32565 out of which 22453 have recovered while 538 have died. 5853 active patients are still undergoing treatment. There are 489 non-PCMC residents currently admitted in PCMC hospitals, while 124 have died and 1279 have been cured.

 

Across Maharashtra, 9,115 people got discharged from hospitals while 11,813 new cases and 413 deaths were reported today. The total number of COVID cases has reached 5,60,126 out of which 3,90,958 people have recovered and 19063 have died. There are 1,49,798 active cases.

 

According to the Union Health Ministry, the number of Coronavirus positive patients has reached 23,96,637 across the country. Out of this, 16,95,982 have been cured and discharged from hospitals while 47,033 people have died and one patient has migrated out of the country. There are still 6,53,622 active patients undergoing treatment in hospitals across the country.
