Pune: Case Registered Against 21 People For Organizing Bullock Cart Races
Wadgoan Maval, 12 July 2021: A bullock cart race was organized despite ban and case has been registered against 21 people at Wadgoan Maval Police Station.
Bullock cart race was held at Shivne in Maval. Police officer Ashish Arjun Kale filed a complaint in this regard.
A case has been registered against 21 persons including Ganesh Mhaske, Hanumant Mhaske, Vikram Kede, Adinath Garade, Adinath Mhaske, and Manoj Dhore at Wadgaon Maval Police station.
According to police inspector Suresh Nimbalkar, Bullock cart race was held at Shivne in Maval on Sunday (July 11) at around 10 am. Violating the Covid-19 rules, citizens gathered in the crowd to watch the race.
Cruelly and ruthlessly the ox cart was driven through climbing roads, wounding the oxen. According to the complaint, the bulls were tortured beyond their capacity and strength.
