Pune: Case Registered Against Eight People, Including Doctor, For Running Illegal Hospital In Wagholi
Wagholi, 4th November 2022: A doctor, along with eight others, have been booked by the police under various sections, including fraud, for running an unauthorised hospital in Siddharthnagar in Wagholi. In this case, Adv Narendra Anand Waghmare (33), a resident of Wagholi, Pune, has filed a complaint at Lonikand Police Station. The incident happened between 2014 and February 2022 at New Matoshree Multi specialist Hospital in Wagholi.
According to the information given by the police, in collaboration with Dr Shashikant Nikam and Dr Vidyanand Bhillare, the accused opened an unofficial hospital named New Matoshree Multi Specialist in the Wagholi area in 2014. He cheated the citizens and government with malicious acts that threatened the health and life of the patients.
Also, the police have registered a case against the concerned accused as the accused, with the help of their accomplices, abused and threatened the complainant and his family members.
Police Inspector Gajanan Pawar of Lonikand Police Station is conducting further investigation in this regard.
