Pune: Cases Registered Against Production Manager Of Dev Gill Productions For Illegal Shooting In Riverside

Pune, 26th July 2022: A case under IPC section 188, 341 have been registered at Shivajinagar police station against Dev Gill Productions who shot a film without valid permission on Mutha river bank. The incident took place between 6.00 am to 6.00 pm on Friday (July 22).

 

The name of the person against whom the case has been registered is identified as Swapneel Devkar (Production Manager, Dev Gill Productions). Police constable Pandurang Namdev Mane (44) has filed a complaint in this case.

 

According to the information given by the police, actor Dev Gill is working on a Marathi film. It was said that he is playing the role of a police officer in this movie. The shooting of the film began on July 22 near Nana Nani Park near the riverbank. The road was closed for traffic. Due to this, the citizens and motorists were greatly disturbed.

 

Many drivers and citizens also had arguments with bouncers and police present at the location. But still, the shooting was not stopped. There was an incident where the bouncers also pushed journalists who went to the spot to get information after receiving complaints from citizens.

 

Permission was denied for shooting in the Nana Nani Park on the riverbank beside the bridge in front of the Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC). Even after the permission was denied, this order was violated and the traffic was blocked and the citizens were obstructed while the shooting was carried on.

 

A case has been registered in this matter and further investigation is being conducted by Police Sub-Inspector Shirasagar.
