Baramati, 28th January 2023: Due to the efforts of senior NCP leader Sharad Pawar, MP Supriya Sule, and Leader of Opposition Ajit Pawar along with the continuous follow-up of the Industrial Manufacturing Association, the central government has approved a 100-bed ESIC hospital in Baramati.

It will benefit the workers working in Baramati, Daund, Jejuri, Indapur, Phaltan, Madha, and Srigonda industrial estates. MP Supriya Sule thanked Union Labor Minister Bhupendra Yadav for the same and said that considering the number of workers, it is necessary to have 100 more beds.

There are large industrial estates in Baramati, Daund, Jejuri, and Indapur talukas of the Baramati Lok Sabha constituency. Along with this, there are industrial estates in Phaltan, Madha, and Srigonda in the neighboring taluks and the workers working there will also be able to benefit from the ESIC hospital being built in Baramati.

Considering all these industrial colonies, the number of workers working in various companies in all seven colonies is very large. For them, there is a need for a fully equipped ESIC hospital at Baramati. Not only this, it is imperative that it has at least 200 beds. For this, MP Supriya Sule was following up for the past few days. Baramati Industrial Manufacturers Association President Dhananjay Jamdar and his colleagues were also pursuing the same.

A proposal in this regard was also submitted to the Union Labor Minister. The proposal has been approved and a 100-bed hospital has been approved.

“This is a matter of great joy. We welcome it, But the workers working in a total of seven industrial colonies will benefit from this hospital. Considering their number, the hospital must have at least 200 beds.” MP Sule has also expressed her belief that Union Labor Minister Bhupendra Yadav will think positively about this.
