Pune: Citizens Demand Justice for Atul Subhash

Pune, December 15, 2024: Over 100 men gathered in front of the Collector’s Office in Pune today as part of a candle light protest organized by the Save Indian Family Foundation (SIFF). The protest was held to demand justice for Atul Subhash and raise awareness about the alleged misuse of alimony laws.
Protesters argued that alimony has become a “legal tool for extortion” and called on the Supreme Court to take action to address these concerns. They emphasized the need for judicial reforms to prevent exploitation while ensuring genuine cases are supported.
“This is about fairness. The law must protect everyone equally,” said a protester.
The protest highlighted growing frustration among men’s rights groups, urging legal reforms to close perceived loopholes in marital dispute laws.
