Pune: Citizens Demand More Facilities During PCMC Jansamwad Sabha
Pimpri, 5th September 2022: On behalf of the Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC), public meetings are organized every Monday to maintain communication between the citizens and the administration and to redress complaints quickly.
Accordingly, ‘Jansamwad Sabha’ was held today in all the eight zonal offices of the municipal corporation. A total of 71 citizens participated in the public dialogue meeting held today and presented suggestions without complaints.
In this public meeting held today, the citizens raised various complaints and suggestions related to old drainage channels and sewage water flowing on the road. They should be repaired which are constantly overflowing.
The traffic is obstructed by citizens parking their cars on the road, parking zone signs should be installed at the relevant places. Dangerous trees on the roadsides should be trimmed, potholes should be filled, roads should be repaired, water supply should be provided with adequate pressure, action should be taken against citizens who throw garbage in the open, and encroachments should be removed as they cause inconvenience to citizens.
They also added that new footpaths should be constructed, eviction action should be taken against unauthorised constructions, and street lights should be installed along the roads.
