Pune City: 1336 New COVID Cases, 40 Deaths Today

Pune, September 30, 2020: In the last 24 hours, a total of 1431 people were discharged from hospitals after recovery from Coronavirus disease (COVID19) in Pune city today. Also, 1336 new patients were detected while 40 people died today. Today swab samples of 6256 were collected for COVID tests.

According to Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC), the total number of Coronavirus positive patients till date has reached 145,291 out of which 125,260 have been cured while 3486 have died. There are still 16,545 active patients undergoing treatment in various hospitals. They include 932 critical patients out of which 516 are on ventilator support.

According to the Union Health Ministry, the number of Coronavirus positive patients has reached 6,225,745 across the country. Out of this, 5,187,825 have been cured and discharged from hospitals while 97,497 people have died and one patient has migrated out of the country. There are still 940,441 active patients undergoing treatment in hospitals across the country
