Pune City: 1364 New COVID Cases, 46 Deaths Today
Pune, September 22, 2020: In the last 24 hours, a total of 1614 people were discharged from hospitals after recovery from Coronavirus disease (COVID19) in Pune city today. Also, 1364 new patients were detected while 46 people died today. Today swab samples of 5215 people were collected for COVID tests.
According to Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC), the total number of Coronavirus positive patients till date has reached 134,029 out of which 113,786 have been cured while 3167 have died. There are still 17,076 active patients undergoing treatment in various hospitals. They include 957 critical patients out of which 492 are on ventilator support.
According to the Union Health Ministry, the number of Coronavirus positive patients has reached 5,562,663 across the country. Out of this, 4,497,867 have been cured and discharged from hospitals while 88,935 people have died and one patient has migrated out of the country. There are still 975,861 active patients undergoing treatment in hospitals across the country.
