Pune City: 1617 New COVID Cases, 30 Death’s Today
Pune, September 04, 2020: In the last 24 hours, a total of 1830 people were discharged from hospitals after recovery from Coronavirus disease (COVID19) in Pune city today. Also, 1617 new patients were detected while 30 people died today. Today swab samples of 6723 people were collected for COVID tests.
According to Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC), the total number of Coronavirus positive patients till date has reached 102,076 out of which 83,915 have been cured while 2431 have died. There are still 15,730 active patients undergoing treatment in various hospitals. They include 891 critical patients out of which 529 are on ventilator support.
According to the Union Health Ministry, the number of Coronavirus positive patients has reached 3,936,747 across the country. Out of this, 3,037,151 have been cured and discharged from hospitals while 68,472 people have died and one patient has migrated out of the country. There are still 831,124 active patients undergoing treatment in hospitals across the country.
