Pune City: 1736 New COVID Cases, 37 Death’s Today

Pune, September 05, 2020: In the last 24 hours, a total of 1456 people were discharged from hospitals after recovery from Coronavirus disease (COVID19) in Pune city today. Also, 1736 new patients were detected while 37 people died today. Today swab samples of 6704 people were collected for COVID tests.

According to Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC), the total number of Coronavirus positive patients till date has reached 103,812 out of which 85,371 have been cured while 2468 have died. There are still 15,973 active patients undergoing treatment in various hospitals. They include 910 critical patients out of which 529 are on ventilator support.

According to the Union Health Ministry, the number of Coronavirus positive patients has reached 4,023,179 across the country. Out of this, 3,107,223 have been cured and discharged from hospitals while 69,561 people have died and one patient has migrated out of the country. There are still 846,395 active patients undergoing treatment in hospitals across the country.
