Pune City: 1909 New COVID Cases, 42 Deaths Today
Pune, September 12, 2020: In the last 24 hours, a total of 1464 people were discharged from hospitals after recovery from Coronavirus disease (COVID19) in Pune city today. Also, 1909 new patients were detected while 42 people died today. Today swab samples of 6626 people were collected for COVID tests.
According to Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC), the total number of Coronavirus positive patients till date has reached 117,679 out of which 97,489 have been cured while 2748 have died. There are still 17,442 active patients undergoing treatment in various hospitals. They include 910 critical patients out of which 473 are on ventilator support.
According to the Union Health Ministry, the number of Coronavirus positive patients has reached 46,59,984 across the country. Out of this, 36,24,196 have been cured and discharged from hospitals while 77,472 people have died and one patient has migrated out of the country. There are still 9,58,316 active patients undergoing treatment in hospitals across the country.
