Pune District Reported 4706 New COVID Cases Today, 22,084 Patients Across Maharashtra

Mumbai, Sep 12, 2020: A total of 13,489 patients were discharged and 22,084 new Covid-19 cases were reported in Maharashtra while 4706 new cases were reported in Pune City today. Today, 391 COVID-19 deaths reported in the state, Case fatality rate in the state is 2.81%. The current count of COVID19 patients in the state of Maharashtra is 10,37,765 informed State Health Minister Rajesh Tope.

According to the health department, 7,28,512 patients have been cured while the Case fatality rate in the state is 2.81%. As of today, there are 2,79,768 active cases in the state. The recovery rate in the state is 70.02% while the fatality rate in the state is 2.81%. Currently, 16,52,955 people are in home quarantine and 38,275  people are in institutional quarantine. Out of 51,64,840 laboratory samples, 10,37,765 have been tested positive (20.09%) for COVID-19 until today.

According to the Union Health Ministry, the number of Coronavirus positive patients has reached 46,59,984 across the country. Out of this, 36,24,196 have been cured and discharged from hospitals while 77,472 people have died and one patient has migrated out of the country. There are still 9,58,316 active patients undergoing treatment in hospitals across the country.
