Pune City: 214 New Covid Cases, 505 Discharged Today
Pune, October 19, 2020: In the last 24 hours, a total of 505 people were discharged from hospitals after recovery from Coronavirus disease (COVID19) in Pune city today. Also, 214 new patients were detected while 18 people died today. Today swab samples of 1497 were collected for COVID tests.
According to Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC), the total number of Coronavirus positive patients till date has reached 703,621 out of which 144,432 have been cured while 4001 have died. There are still 9198 active patients undergoing treatment in various hospitals. They include 799 critical patients out of which 434 are on ventilator support.
According to the Union Health Ministry, the number of Coronavirus positive patients has reached 7,550,273 across the country. Out of this, 66,63,608 have been cured and discharged from hospitals while 114,610 people have died and one patient has migrated out of the country. There are still 772,055 active patients undergoing treatment in hospitals across the country.
