Pune City : 217 New Covid Cases , 259 Discharged Today
Pune, November 8, 2020: In the last 24 hours, a total of 259 people were discharged from hospitals after recovery from Coronavirus disease (COVID19) in Pune city today. Also, 217 new patients were detected while 7 people died today. Today swab samples of 2421 were collected for COVID tests.
According to Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC), the total number of Coronavirus positive patients till date has reached 163,274 out of which 153,790 have been cured while 4338 have died. There are still 5146 active patients undergoing treatment in various hospitals. They include 396 critical patients out of which 260 are on ventilator support.
According to the Union Health Ministry, the number of Coronavirus positive patients has reached 85,07,754 across the country. Out of this, 78,68,968 have been cured and discharged from hospitals while 126,121 people have died and one patient has migrated out of the country. There are still 512,665 active patients undergoing treatment in hospitals across the country.
