Pune City: 258 New COVID Patients Reported, 255 Discharged Today
Pune, December 10, 2020: In the last 24 hours, a total of 255 people were discharged from hospitals after recovery from Coronavirus disease (COVID19) in Pune city today. Also, 258 new patients were detected while eight people died today. Today swab samples of 3795 were collected for COVID tests.
According to Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC), the total number of Coronavirus positive patients till date has reached 173,155 out of which 163,551 have been cured while 4522 have died. There are still 5082 active patients undergoing treatment in various hospitals. They include 413 critical patients out of which 237 are on ventilator support.
According to the Union Health Ministry, the number of Coronavirus positive patients has reached 97,67,371 across the country. Out of this, 92,53,306 have been cured and discharged from hospitals while 141,772 people have died and one patient has migrated out of the country. There are still 372,293 active patients undergoing treatment in hospitals across the country.
