Pune City: 302 New Covid Cases, 293 Discharged Today
Pune, December 16, 2020: In the last 24 hours, a total of 293 people were discharged from hospitals after recovery from Coronavirus disease (COVID19) in Pune city today. Also, 302 new patients were detected while 7 people died today. Today swab samples of 3699 were collected for COVID tests.
According to Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC), the total number of Coronavirus-positive patients till date has reached 174,754 out of which 165,246 have been cured while 4556 have died. There are still 4952 active patients undergoing treatment in various hospitals. They include 374 critical patients out of which 222 are on ventilator support.
According to the Union Health Ministry, the number of Coronavirus positive patients has reached 9932547 across the country. Out of this, 9456449 have been cured and discharged from hospitals while 144096 people have died and one patient has migrated out of the country. There are still 332002 active patients undergoing treatment in hospitals across the country.
