Pune City : 329 New Covid Cases , 774 Discharged Today
Pune, October 24, 2020: In the last 24 hours, a total of 774 people were discharged from hospitals after recovery from Coronavirus disease (COVID19) in Pune city today. Also, 329 new patients were detected while 19 people died today. Today swab samples of 2883 were collected for COVID tests.
According to Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC), the total number of Coronavirus positive patients till date has reached 159,406 out of which 148,416 have been cured while 4105 have died. There are still 6885 active patients undergoing treatment in various hospitals. They include 685 critical patients out of which 366 are on ventilator support.
According to the Union Health Ministry, the number of Coronavirus positive patients has reached 7,814,682 across the country. Out of this, 70,16,046 have been cured and discharged from hospitals while 117,956 people have died and one patient has migrated out of the country. There are still 680,680 active patients undergoing treatment in hospitals across the country.
