Pune City: 371 New Covid Cases, 342 Discharged Today
Pune, December 1, 2020: In the last 24 hours, a total of 342 people were discharged from hospitals after recovery from Coronavirus disease (COVID19) in Pune city today. Also, 371 new patients were detected while three people died. Today swab samples of 2951 were collected for COVID tests.
According to Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC), the total number of Coronavirus positive patients till date has reached 1,70,350 out of which 160,487 have been cured while 4467 have died. There are still 5396 active patients undergoing treatment in various hospitals. They include 408 critical patients out of which 242 are on ventilator support.
According to the Union Health Ministry, the number of Coronavirus positive patients has reached 94,62,809 across the country. Out of this, 8,88,9585 have been cured and discharged from hospitals while 1,37,621 people have died and one patient has migrated out of the country. There are still 4,35,603 active patients undergoing treatment in hospitals across the country.
