Pune City : 697 New Covid Cases , 23 Deaths Today

Pune, October 09, 2020: In the last 24 hours, a total of 970 people were discharged from hospitals after recovery from Coronavirus disease (COVID19) in Pune city today. Also, 697 new patients were detected while 23 people died today. Today swab samples of 4788 were collected for COVID tests.

According to Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC), the total number of Coronavirus positive patients till date has reached 152,897 out of which 135,375 have been cured while 3786 have died. There are still 13,736 active patients undergoing treatment in various hospitals. They include 859 critical patients out of which 493 are on ventilator support.

According to the Union Health Ministry, the number of Coronavirus positive patients has reached 6,906,151 across the country. Out of this, 59,06,069  have been cured and discharged from hospitals while 106,490 people have died and one patient has migrated out of the country. There are still 893,592 active patients undergoing treatment in hospitals across the country.
